Maha Kumbhabhishekam - First Anniversary Grand celebrations of SRGT
will be held on:
Saturday JUNE 14TH & Sunday JUNE 15TH 2008.
May 2008: The
highlight of this month is the Birthday for
Lord Swaminathaswamy.THIRD ANNUAL VAIKASI VISAKAM celebrations on
Saturday, May 17, 2008.
Celebrations begin @10AM.
Devotees are welcome to take part & receive the blessings of
Lord Swaminathaswamy.
April 2008:
Mahasivarathri celebrations was done with great devotion. Devotees
may partake in the New Year celebrations and get the blessings of
Lord Shri Raja Ganapathi.
Nov 2007: Diwali ,
skanda shasti celebrations went very well. Devotees are welcome to
take part in the Guru pravesam celebrations on Nov 21 and seek the
blessings of Sri Guru Bhagwan, Acharyas and Swamijis.
Oct 2007: Ganesh
Chathurthi celebrations were done with great pomp and splendor.
Devotees are welcome to take part in the Dasara celebrations and
also in the weekly Sai Bhajans and seek the blessings of Lord Shri
Raja Ganapathi, Goddess Sahasrambika and all.
Sept 2007: All the
monthly activites and special abishekams and pujas are going on.
Temple is gearing up for the grand celebrations of GANESH CHATHURTHI
on SEP 14 - SEPT 16, 2007. All devotees are welcome to take part in

July 2007:
Mandala Abishekam is in progress. All devotees who need more
information about the Mandala Abishekam are requested to contact

June 2007:
MahaKumbaishekam was successfully done on June 22 thru June 24, 2007.
May 2007: Devotees
note that the Kumbabhisekam event is scheduled for June 22, 23 and
24, 2007. Program schedules and invitations are
being finalized and will be sent to the devotees shortly. We
invite volunteers to participate in the Kumbhabhishekam event
and would request contact details (name, address and phone
number) and area of interest you would like to volunteer such as
food, parking, transportation, lodging and boarding.
April 2007:
Certificate of Occupancy
was issued to the Temple. Yantra Nyasa was done with great
splendor on April 22 and 23, 2007.
March 2007:
Temple is open for darshan
and MahaKumbabishekam is scheduled for June 22, June 23 and June 24,
2007. Yantraprasthapina is scheduled to be in April 2007. So, all
devotees wishing to perform Yantra pooja are requested to do the
same as early as possible.
January 2007:
Temple will be open for
darshan starting from Jan 2007. Poojas to the Balalaya moorthies
will be performed.
November 2006:
We are glad to inform you that the
construction of Sri Raja Ganapathi Temple is nearing completion. The
painting of the interior, installing siding of the exterior,
plumbing and electrical fixture installation are in progress. The
remaining work includes finishing parking lots and landscaping.
With God’s grace plus your
support/prayers, we are hopeful to finish the construction and
obtain a Certification of Occupancy for the temple within this month
and relocate the Balaalayam to the temple and continue nithya poojas
in Krithiga Masa (Nov 15-Dec14)
We plan to inaugurate the temple on
January 1, 2007 and have the grand Kumbhabishekam in the
spring of 2007.
August 2006:
The Ashram part of the Sri
Raja Ganapathi Temple is undergoing construction and only Nithya
Poojas are performed. The Temple will remain closed to Devotees
until completion of construction.
July 14, 2006:
With your financial and moral support and prayers, the construction has progressed to the stage of framing and roofing.
We are glad to inform you that the Peeta Stapana was performed on the Chathurthi day, Friday, July 14. The Moorthies were brought into the site and are placed over the Peetams. The Yantra poojas will continue till the Kumbhabishekam.
May Sri Raja Ganapathi’s blessings be always with you.
With God’s grace, your support and prayers, we hope to finish the construction and inaugurate the temple within the next 8-10 weeks.
To date we have expended a sum of about $250,000 for the project. The projected cost for the remaining phases is $ 310,000. On top of the escrowed amount for phase 1, we need to have about $200,000 ready for payments in the next 2 months to keep the construction going on schedule.
We are actively looking for financing through lending institutions against the equity on the properties. Though it is large amount to be realized in a very short time, we are hopeful and confident that with His Grace and your moral and financial support as donations and loans, we will be able to meet the expenses complete the project on time.

We are glad to inform
you that the construction work is progressing as per schedule.
The idols have arrived
and are in safe storage.
The highway lane
widening has been completed. The laying of the parking lot and
digging for the foundation has commenced after weather related
delay.
MARCH 14, 2006:
Bhoomi pooja was conducted on June 26, 2005. Sri
Raja Ganapathi Temple site Foundation work began on March 14, 2006.

FEB 10,2006:
Sri Raja Ganapathi Temple idols have arrived at New Jersey on
Feb 10, 2006. The idols were recieved by Smt. Rajeshwari Dixitar and
Shri. Dixitar at NJ. Acharya Vishu and Secretary Natarajan were
fortunate to physically participate in moving the crates from

Special Fund Raising Musical
Concert Held on July 10, 2005. Vocal Recital by Ms. Gowri
Janikaraman accompanied by Sri Shivkumar Kalyanaraman on the Violin
and Mr. Ramakrishna Neti on Mirudangam. Our thanks to Dr. Gattu N.
Rao for coordinating this function and all the volunteers who made
this occasion a Grand success. Check out the pictures in the photo

Ground Breaking Ceremony at
Sri Raja Ganapthi Temple Site, New Jersey was held on June 24, 2005.
This
the latest update on the construction of the Sri Raja Ganapathi
temple:
We
are pleased to announce that the construction contract for
the Sri Raja Ganapathi Temple has been signed and is waiting the
approval of the county.
SVAS has raised
up to $120,000.00 so far and continues its fund raising efforts.
The first step of the
construction, the Bhoomi Puja was completed successfully on
June 24, 2005 at the temple site. The Puja was attended by Mr. Frank
W Minor, the mayor of Logan Township; Mr. Dalpat Patel, Mayor of
Mansfield Township; Mr. John Frye, our construction contractor; Shri
Arjun Patel, and several well-wishers.
Phase 1 of the
construction, which is due to be completed by the end of Aug 2005
will consist of preparing the foundation, completing the parking
lot, drainage system, and setting up outside light fixtures.
